It's Halloween and people were in their festive costumes. Some original and creative, and others were standard. I was also in Central Park for the Chanel Mobile Art exhibition in Central Park. For pictures from the Mobile Art, please visit:

Had dinner at a restaurant called Peasant in Soho. The restaurant is on Elizabeth Street. Peasant serves comfort Italian food. Prices are a bit pricey. The starters and main courses are great. I ordered the special starter, which was the rabbit livers over creamy polenta and wild mushrooms. The livers were a bit on the dry side but good. For the main course, I got the Osso Buco served with barley. The dessert was not up to par with the savory dishes. I ordered the peach tart but was served the pear tart. Apparently, the dessert menu had a typo. In any case, it was huge! It was enough to feed three people. The tart was also served with a scoop of hazelnut ice cream.

I was at Union Square. It was a busy day with lots of people enjoying Autumn in New York City! I was waiting for the bus when I saw this couple on a black Vespa.

Well, as you know it's October and October means Halloween. The costume shops have been open since September. Homes are preparing to look haunted and scary. I was in the city this evening. I looked up and saw in the window these lit of pumpkins. I thought it was pretty cool.
Sorry the pictures are a bit small. I was on the street looking up, and trying to keep myself from getting run over by taxis. This was taken at the corner of 14th Street and 6th Avenue, righ above the Urban Outfitters store.

I saw this black gentleman outside our new office on Lafayette. I don't recognize him but I recognize that he is someone famous. There were three cameramen on him. Does anyone know who he is?
