Well, as you know it's October and October means Halloween. The costume shops have been open since September. Homes are preparing to look haunted and scary. I was in the city this evening. I looked up and saw in the window these lit of pumpkins. I thought it was pretty cool.
Sorry the pictures are a bit small. I was on the street looking up, and trying to keep myself from getting run over by taxis. This was taken at the corner of 14th Street and 6th Avenue, righ above the Urban Outfitters store.

Well, today was a better day for picture taking. I was at the Union Square Green Market; always a great place for picture taking. Lots of apples and pumpkins and succulents, oh my! They were mainly snap shots. Take a look. I also took some pictures of sparrows frolicking at a nearby willow tree.
